Pick a recipe together
Filter by age, allergies, time, and what is actually in your fridge. Every recipe shows exactly which jobs are kid jobs and which need a grown-up.
Whisklings turns your kitchen into the friendliest cooking school on earth. Step-by-step audio recipes, real skills, zero pressure, and a whole lot of flour on the floor.
No video screens to copy, no grown-up recipes to translate. Whisklings reads every step out loud, kid-speed.
Filter by age, allergies, time, and what is actually in your fridge. Every recipe shows exactly which jobs are kid jobs and which need a grown-up.
Big pictures, short audio instructions, and built-in timers. Kids tap "Next" when they are ready, so the recipe goes at their pace, not the app's.
Every finished dish earns skill badges, from Egg Cracker to Sauce Boss. Snap a photo for the family cookbook and watch confidence grow.
Designed with child-development experts, pediatric dietitians, and several hundred extremely honest taste-testers.
Pre-readers cook independently because every step is read aloud in a warm, patient voice. Kids who can read follow chunky text with picture cues. Either way, no one is squinting at a grown-up cookbook.
Recipes are tagged knife-free, heat-free, or grown-up-assist, and the app pauses with a "Call a grown-up!" chime before any hot or sharp moment. You decide what your child unlocks, recipe by recipe.
Kids are 3x more likely to try food they made themselves. Our veggie ladder sneaks new flavors in, one fun recipe at a time.
Set allergies once and they vanish from search forever, with safe swap suggestions baked into every recipe.
See skills mastered, foods tried, and what to cook next. Weekly recap emails brag about your kid for you.
Every single one tested by kid panels until the instructions made sense to a five-year-old and the result made sense to a grown-up.
Real reviews from the grown-ups (and one extremely proud nine-year-old).
"My daughter has made dinner every Thursday for two months. She calls it her restaurant and I am apparently a regular. Worth every penny."
"The audio steps are genius. My son cannot read yet but he made banana pancakes basically solo. I just stood there holding the spatula like an assistant."
"I have the Sauce Boss badge AND the Knife badge. My little sister only has Egg Cracker. The curry was the best thing our family ever ate, my dad said so."

Ages 4 to 12, with recipes graded into three bands. Four-year-olds start with no-heat, knife-free recipes like salad jars and overnight oats. By 10 to 12, kids who have earned their stove and knife badges can cook full family dinners with a grown-up nearby.
Safety is the spine of the whole product. Every recipe step is tagged kid-solo or grown-up-assist, the app audibly calls for an adult before any hot or sharp task, and parents control which skill badges (and therefore which tools) each child profile can unlock.
Yes, that is exactly who audio-first mode is for. Every step is read aloud with a big friendly picture, and kids tap a giant "Next" button when ready. Many of our most active chefs are five years old.
Set allergies and dietary needs once per child profile (we cover the top 14 allergens plus vegetarian, vegan, halal, and kosher styles). Unsafe recipes disappear from that child's view entirely, and where a simple swap works we suggest it right in the ingredient list.
We think of Whisklings as screen-assisted hands-on time. There is no video to passively watch and no infinite feed; the screen is a talking recipe card that kids glance at between stirring, pouring, and tasting. A typical session is 90% hands in the bowl.
Two taps in settings, no chat with a retention bot, no guilt trip. Your kids keep every badge they earned, and the free Little Taste plan stays open forever.
Give your kid a wooden spoon and a free week of Whisklings. Dinner might be wobbly. The grin will not be.
